Sounds like it would be less expensive to hire this out...either a power only job if it is your trailer or t/t if you didnt have a trailer....between renting a truck from Ryder and the fuel....and you are spending a day + to do this why not sub contract it out. Not telling you how to run your business however from a cost standpoint you are really cutting it close as to if any savings exist.
Again - I do not know the exact situation so maybe you could elaborate a lil' more? -

On your trip you can drive 11 hours in a 14 hour period than you must take a 10 hour break. In the first 8 hours of driving you must show a 30 minute break.

thanxs all for the input we have equipment that has to be ran out and droped for ajob but the straight job we have might be to small i have a class a lic was thinking of renting a truck and trailer to do this just not use to log books i no it will take two days to do it alown with laws and rest time i can drive the truck and trailer i just dont do it all the time.
