I have a 99 W900 with the factory tapered bumper:

...and I was wondering if or what anyone did to put LEDs under it?
I was thinking of a string row of LEDs on each angled side because if I did the entire bottom it
would look like a smile and if I did just the bottom center, it would look like a GOPHER with the headlights.
Thoughts?
Tapered bumper with under LEDs - anyone do this?

My thoughts are that I want the names / numbers of your brokers. Apparently you're making too much money in too little time, and I want in on it!

I had a old classic with nice bumper and previous owner put lights on bottom of bumper.Looked real pretty...until my truck was the snow plow in rochester new york.took the light bar right off.

I think that style bumper should just stay the way it is, have never seen one with lights that actually looked cool on/in it. My favorite one is this http://www.bigrigchromeshop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?page=BRCS/CTGY/KEBT (at the bottom of page) the American Style bumper. Probably costs somewhere between your leg or your first born, but it sure does look cool. Lights along the bottom of that one are also pretty cool. One thing not to do though, the lights that go up and down the sides look ridiculous.

i say do what ever you like it is your truck, no one else has to like it...
personally i like the smiley face idea, now my daughter would pick the gopher look but to each their ownHanadarko Thanks this. -
If I put lights all the way end-to-end, I get a smile.
If I put lights in the center, I get a gopher face.
if I put lights on the ends...maybe a bit of an asian look. Not sure.
The ends are exactly 20" and so are my LED strips.
Next bumper will be rectangle.NWMAXI Thanks this. -
put them on and see if you like it,you can do it temporaraly to see

Just a general observation, the bumper is the first place Billy Bigrigger throws a light when he gets his first paycheck.
I personally don't care for a row of lights on a bumper, never did. I like one on each end that lights up the front wheel. Amber fwd/red bwd.
