What sort of MVRs do they pull?

Just curious, where do the companies get our MVRs? I live in NC but was involved in an accident in GA. Since I was the only one involved, it was ruled a "no-fault" accident and my insurance didn't go up or anything. I pulled my own State of NC MVR and nothing was reported. Is this something they can dig up? I know from reading I should put it on the application anyways, because if I DON'T list it and they DO find out, they'll send me packing.

Also, my MVR does show one suspension I forgot about, from way back in high school. They suspended it for a bit for "Dropout Prevention," when I didn't do so hot one semester. Will they count that against me as a 'real' suspension, when it's completely bogus?

Be upfront, do not lie by omission ... It is better for you to tell a perspective employer EVERYTHING because if they find it latter it will most likely bite you in the butt. You can do better explaining an accident you we not at fault in versus why you never told them of it in the first place, and I don't believe a "Dropout Prevention" will be held against you but you would do better to explain it rather than letting you MVR show it without any explanation.

doesn't matter what state you are in. you only have one license. and one mvr. whatever you get in another state will follow you.

so if it's not there. don't worry bout it.

I would be honest, but I doubt very seriously they would used that as a negative. especially the high school thing. I had enough tickets in High school to wall paper a house and it never effected me.
