man I wish all revcievers were like my first....it took me longer to back in than it did for them to pull 12 pallets and give me a green light to close my doors...then 10 minutes later bills in hand......
as for your questions
1. yes but you have to ASK.....As for deadhead...well the most was 500 mi but got paid extra CPM for it....I think I probably do about 500 a week on average of deadhead...sometimes more sometimes less...it depends on where I end up in the world....
2. not cheap but not expensive either IMOstormin_norman66 Thanks this. -
Health Insurance Blows!!!! They'll give you $120 every 3rd Friday to help towards getting your own Health Insurance if you don't get there's, which is pretty sweet

Just basic health ins, no vision, no dental, not the best, you can ask the dispatcher what the load pays, usually I'll wait till i see my pay stubs and get an idea of what pays good and what's #### paying, but it all even out, ive been getting good miles and money since i started, just once in a while it gets crazy coordinating stuff b3tween different terminals.
Looks like just under 60k until this beast gets traded in, getting sent into the kw place here to get a leaky radiator pipe replaced, then to the house, maybe I'll get a chance to stop by the fire hall and put a ballot in for what its worth, I'll be glad when this election is over, i think they need a new law....ABSOLUTELY NO campaigning until a year before this election. Its like we vote people in, then they start this campaign ### for the mid-terms or the next presidential election as soon as they settle in to their comfy D.C. offices! Makes me glad i'm an independent, i hate the whole 2 party system BS anyways lol.freebirdrfd and stormin_norman66 Thank this. -
Thx for the answers to my ? Got another I see you guys saying dont forget to load your cards and gets checks ahead of time. 1. Don't you have 24 dispatch to call and get money? 2.it sounds like you pay for it then get reimburse for it 3. Can you just lump it yourself and turn in reicept for what the lumper service would of charged or slightly less?

VW woukd rather you not touch freight because they can't afford a driver to be out injured.
We do not have 24 hour dispatch because we're just not that big. There is an after hours number for emergencies. There is also an after hours contractor for breakdown issues.
You are responsible for planning ahead to have lumper money loaded on your card that you can get when fueling. Or on EFS check if you perfer. Usually your dispatcher will remind you but it is ultimately your responsibility.
