Hope you didnt put replace the exhaust sleeves. Been told just put on just exhaust gaskets, NOT THE SLEEVE KIND. Is that why you paid so much ?

$600 seams kinda spendy. I just changed on out to PDI and got all new studs, nuts and gaskets for manifold and turbo at local kenworth and it was only $249

Be sure to make sure slip joints are set right so stud holes are centre of the studs when it's on . Otherwise she will snap studs. Just a tip if you already didn't know.snowman_w900 and Buckshot7cz Thank this.

Just got her on the road...runs like a 550 again. Yeah i put the sleve kind of gaskets in. Went 420k miles with em in without a problem so they are in it again. Got everything together again no snapped studs. Had a oh crap moment when intercooler piping blew apart....guess my calibrated torque hand must need recalibrated...tightened and all was good. Hauling a load of blocks in the morning ill see how she handles 80k lbs tomorrow.

Diesel Dave from what i hear guys that go back to older style gasket blow them out within 2 months. I have heard the thing to do is buy the regular acert sleeves and gaskets and cut the sleeve rivets off and just use the gaskets.DPFnDEF did you go to brownstown cat for those parts? I have to replace mine tomorrow

I went to cleveland brothers cat. Ended up costing me about 1650 with all parts I needed from cat and pdi. Talked to local pdi dealer and they use sleves sometimes and gaskets other times. I have about 6k miles on truck and so far so good. Get thermostat housing gasket because its hard to get front studs out without removing it. Had clearance issues in my 379 so had to install rear studs after installing manifold. Any other questions just pm me.
