On November 11, any veteran of the U.S. armed services who also holds a CDL can receive a complimentary meal (up to a $15 value) at any participating TA or Petro full-service restaurant. To receive the meal, vets will need to show proof of service to their server prior to ordering their meal. Proof of service includes: U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card; Veterans Organization Card; Photograph in uniform; DD214; or Citation or Commendation.

Like a driver carries around his DD-214 or a citation.
Also many other resturants will host a free meal for any active duty or veteran.
On a side note... those who have a DD-214, I would suggest you register it with your local court house. Then in case you cannot find it you can always get a copy from the court house.Numb Thanks this. -

My American Legion Card works for me. Golden Corral does this every year and gets a huge turnout. Make sure you thank the restaurant manager and post a comment on their website for supporting us in this way.
