EthanYoungGuns Thanks this. -
I regularly turn 3000 miles/week on e logs. Yesterday's check was for 7900ish miles. (Paid every 2 weeks) That did include a 1200 mile load home that got held over.
Flip Flops and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
well you don't do it in tang top and shorts, you dress for it and get it done... you learn that frozen tarps just don't need to be rolled up real nice and pretty. untill your in nicer weatherFlip Flops and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

i like the northwest for the od stuff, as long as your lit up you can run after dark and get a good day in,
also i rarely run hard over the weekend, i get rested up for the next week, deliver monday morning and run hard till firday night ( gotta be loaded friday so im not sitting over the weekend that sucks) then have an easy weekend -
training was decent and it's a place to start, just get a year in and many other options open up.

I'd love to go to cdl school on my own, but I've got family and bills and even though my gi bill will pay for it, i need to get on the road asap. Im leaning towards swift or prime. Swift said I could be there next monday but prime takes you with your permit, which i have, and puts you on the road. Both are in the va apprentice program too. I guess ill do what every other logical redneck would do, base it off of the better truck.lol.
-
how are you gonna do that they both run the same type of truck, except swift has options for trucksDrtyDiesel Thanks this.
-
What do you mean options? That could be it. I did see that prime offers some pete 387's.
-
Prime has cascadias, Pete 386's and 387's, prostars, and a few Columbia's left. There may be more but that's what I mostly see.
As far as swift, all I really ever see is cascadias and prostars.
