I can't really say what happens on a yearly basis as I haven't been here that long. I know that for me freight has been slower the past month. But, I still gross 800-1200 a week. So, when freight slows, I gotta work a little harder but I still make about the same money. Getting home is where slow freight screws me. I'm on the outskirts of the hiring maps so I kinda expect it.
Orientation is 550 gross. $50 cash during the first week, then the rest on your first check. After the first week (orientation) your go to 450/ week gross til your out on your own. Best thing to do is save a little to get you by until the real money comes in.dirttrackking55 Thanks this. -
I am upon my one year anniversary with Maverick. I usually gross an average of about $1100 per week. Slower periods maybe around $1000.
Very happy here. Pretty confident you would be too.dirttrackking55 Thanks this. -
Not to be hijacking this thread but how many young guys (21-25ish) are there at Maverick from hat you guys have seen?

Most that I know are late 30's to early 40's.

Averaging 1000-1100 per week what division are you in? And how long are you out at a time? is that gross or take home?

I'm 29 myself, and in TCD. Our division is just starting to take off so freight isn't as heavy as in flatbed and glass, but I tend to gross $800 - $1100 per week roughly, it can vary a bit. The only REALLY low checks I've had are due to home time, because I stay out 4 - 5 weeks and then take 4 - 5 days off. But if it makes you feel any better, Maverick will always guarantee you $400 per week gross if you're available to run freight for the entire week and there are no holidays in that week. I've gotten the "minimum pay" to boost my check once, because I ran one short trip and then a long Canada run, which gave me a low check on the first week, so they added money to it to give my $400 gross. My next check was huge though

That's good to hear you guys are doing that good on mileage, I stayed out for a month at a time with the last company and did that in about 2 week and never did a reset....
