I hope to start in Jan. So what is it like? Probably be freezing while I am there and snow!
-
Probably lol. But it's fairly simple. For me atleast since I've had my cdl for 4 years now. But the instructors are really nice an know there stuff. Pretty fast paced. For the guys just starting they have learned shifting high way driving an city driving a lot of different corners an straight line backing an we started on the 45 today. Oh an pre trip an post trip. So it's a lot to take in fun tho.

I forgot the part about his driver license. We were talking about keeping a clean record and what happens in a personal vehicle can affect his CDL. He tells me it has been easy to keep his record clean. He was so broke the last two years he couln't afford gas or insurance for his car so he had been riding his bike. Nothing like training a guy who hasn't even driven a car in two years. Maybe it was good though because he could really drive the truck it was everything that was a problem.

Last day of orientation in ellenwood today then fill out paperwork on Monday to become an official employee. Hopefully ill be out with a trainer on Wednesday and closer to getting my truck. This week has been fun and informative but absolutely exhausted right now.

Sweet man congrats what instructors you have?
-
We had Bo and Carlo for the week. Cant wait to get with my trainer, wondering now how much I have leaned will be used or if it all goes out the window. Seems like all trainers and instructors have a different style that youre supposed to learn. It honestly makes me a little nervous about meeting my trainer and doing well enough to get my own truck. Either way I hope to be out on the road Wednessday.

Just arrived in Marshfield, Wi and I'm waiting in my hotel room. I wonder what fun things are in store for tomorrow.
-
Suppose to snow tomorrow, but most of your first day will be inside.
-
Well I guess it's a good thing I brought my comfy Sorel boots along with my winter jacket and gloves for the other days.
it is pretty windy here at the moment.
