My Experience with Lone Star Transportation

could get one at level 0.

 

I hauled an RGN at L0... I tarp 4 out 10 loads on average. Im averaging about 2400/wk now... semed to have slowed down a bit but summertime was around 2800-2900... and in 7 months ive only had 2 weekends I didnt get a 34. I push pretty hard myself... but im greedy, and still kinda young.

 

Well I've read all the posts and I must say I learned a lot..

I'll apply to both LS/Keen and see if either makes an offer then decide...

I called and left a voicemail for recruiting and filled out the quick app on the website....

We shall see if they respond..

 

Normally one you fill out the application online, they're pretty quick about getting back to you to fax the release forms. I filled my application out on a Sunday evening, by Monday afternoon I was scheduled for orientation. I did leave one of their direct competitors to come over here though.

 

I just finished the online app for KEEN, truth be told told I like what I've learned about both KEEN and Lone Star so the first one that offers a job (if either one does) I'm going with because I want off this reefer I'm pulling that bad..

 

Nothing wrong with Keen, either. We pull out of each others yards quite a bit, and most of their guys that I talk to seem happy as well.

 

Anyone know if they're getting by the driver appreciation on Saturday? I should be I think. Got a load going through there anyway.

 

Azs...I forget, is it in Houston or Laredo? I deleted the messages. Either way, I hope to be heading home on Sat. My wedding is a week from Wednesday, and I've got 5 days off coming.
