Thanks for all the congrats guys. Flip flops, when I last talked to Vickie in maintenance, the pre DPF 379s are going to be around for a while. Most of the 389s were gone before I started...DPF issues. Still got the high roof 387s floating around, but a lot of new KWhoppers and 386s too. Next batch of trucks are going to be 4axles and day cabs IIRC.

    Flip Flops Thanks this.

If you go to the Markets page on the website and click on the various services they offer there are a couple day cab K Whoppers and Petes pictured.....might be old pics though

I ran for them for a couple months probably 8 years ago....quit when they didn't want to get me home for something that was rather important to me. I enjoyed my time with them, but decided I couldn't work for them again unless it was in my own truck so that I could have gone home without giving up my job. Since then, I've bought a day cab. I've got a gig up here that I enjoy....but if I ever move to Texas (always a possibility), it's good to know they have day cabs.

Yup. Company daycabs in Houston and Laredo at least, and I know a couple of the HH owner ops that are running the superloads are using them and staying in hotels every night.

I take back what I said earlier, I was corrected by someone who has been around Lone Star longer than myself, apparently driver appreciation happens in Houston, Laredo AND Ft. Worth in past years. I'm not sure I'll make it now, got the bait and switch at a kenworth in Scranton so now I need to stop again in Springfield, MO to get done what should have gotten done in PA.

just needs a PM and a couple recalls done apparently, the place in PA said I would get in shortly after I arrived over the phone but when I got there in person it was going to not even get started until late that night, possibly next morning. Pretty shady.
