I disagree with you snowwy, even you were a rookie at some point, there's just a difference in your attitude than alot of the people now a days...
Alot of you older/experienced drivers chose this profession because you wanted to!
Alot of people that are driving now have lost their jobs and came to trucking for that big money $$$$$$ because all truck drivers are rich, just ask one he'll tell ya.
I grew up around trucks, my grandfathers drove, my dad and uncles all drove, i knew growing up exactly what I wanted to do and I love and take pride in my job every day...there's ALOT of guys like me out there...sadly there is just as many that used truck driving as a fall back career and simply don't take the pride in the job or really care about anything other than a paycheck and how easy they can make it...
Truckers....not what I was expecting.

it seems that most drivers out here dont speak english. They dont know how to be courtious and I ve seen to many drivers who are sleep driving.very scary
Logan76 Thanks this. -
?Sleepdriving? Ahora se la palabra.
-
they are sleep driving because they choose to run with that leash the govt wants.
let's face it. our jobs are what it is. it's totally unrealistic to think it our day works exactly like the rules want it to. -
i don't know how you can disagree with me. when you just basically said the same thing i did. in a longer version.WideSkyND Thanks this.

I chose this profession for the easy access to hookers and high speed chicken feed!
RALPHMANBEARPONY and Hammer166 Thank this. -
I wouldnt take it personally.I understand though how brutal some drivers can be.
I think alot of these folks are burned out,and lacking in several areas.
Why anyone gets pleasure from watching someone squirm is just sadistic in my opinion, whether
trucking,or any type of work.
Ive also met drivers,(mostly older) that were soo nice it would almost bring a tear to your eye.
You could tell they were genuinely good people, and just wanted someone to talk to.Those are the
guys/gals I respect, and look forward to talking to.
Theyre still out there, and I try to be more like those drivers.Keep your head up,they aint all turds
in the punchbowl
TruckerSue and reefer75 Thank this.
