It looks like your stuff is Posting just fine. Your advice to Mike is spot on. Best he can do is try those things and hope it helps the process along. Let me know if you have any questions about your orientation. I know I wondered about a few things before I went through it. I'd be happy to try and help out.![]()
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

I get plenty miles. I left Grand Prairie Sunday and went to Burlington, NJ. Picked up in Dayton, NJ on Wednesday and am going to deliver in Katy, TX on Saturday morning. I'll find out later today, but most likely I will pick up Saturday at our Mont Belviue plant and roll back to Grand Prairie Saturday night. 7 days total with about 3650 miles and $90 in stop pay. Should gross about $1842 for the week. Average length of haul here is bigger because we haul our own freight. We sell our products all over the country so we get loads going everywhere except to California.

Back on the road tomorrow. Had the option of 2 different Costco loads I have done before or a Blaine, WA one which I chose and have never done. Weather looks like it will be fine up there so hopefully can knock her out and get a good run out of there.
jdrentzjr Thanks this. -
Blaine is a good run. They will let you park overnight at the customer.

Do you hire only Class A drivers or do you have OTR Class B's too? I know of some Class B drivers who want to work but can't find anything in their class. One wants to do OTR as a B since he's seen B class sleeper trucks. But as far as I can tell, those are rare, few and far in between to find.

Class A only.
-
Okay, thanks!

For those with only Class B, check the Expediter segment of this industry. You could be an owner operator or look for a fleet owner in this segment of the industry with a Class B. Such companies as Panther Expedited & Landstar Expedited. Another avenue for opportunities is Tow-Away...Horizon, Star Fleet, & such.

Sooo ... Poly will soon get an application from this soon-to-be former Crete driver. I'd been leaning towards taking some time to get in shape and go back to running for a flatbed company that would have me home every weekend, but this looks like a good deal if I can get on with just under seven years' OTR experience and a clean record. I have a gap in employment from eight years ago when I was in school getting my second useless college degree so I guess I'll need to get that transcript to prove that's what I was doing. Any chance that'll be a problem? Maverick actually turned me down because of it when I was first looking for driver jobs but I had no OTR experience at the time.
At any rate, thanks for the thread!
