Yea me too. I just zone every one out an do my thing. Every now an then I have a problem with goin from 6th to 5th. Idk what it is I'm doin wrong but it's just that down shift. Every other gear I'm fine with. As the guys in my truck put it "it feels like an automatic when ur driving" lol
-
If I grind it is usually that gear.
Also when I up shift to 6th sometimes the gear won't drop and I have to take it out and do it again. Every truck I've driven has done it. Maybe i shift like lightening.. I don't know. -
I could always tell when I was tired....start grinding gears!
-
Yeah I start grinding around my 8th hour and on. Driving really does wear you out
Ethan -
Well atleast I ain't the only one that has problems with 5th lol
-
Sitting at home now waiting for them to find a trainer for me, after 4 days in the hotel I guess home isn't so bad. I'd much rather be out making some money though.

Hey Pirate Trucker xoxx,
I just graduated Roadmaster Orlando and have picked Roehl. I know they are a good company and after todays pre emp physical, I am wondering my choice. I need a sleep study done due to my neck being 18" and BMI at 36. Is this some kind of ploy ? -
Just Roehl trying to be a step ahead of what will probably become industry standard and dot mandated sleep apnea testing. Anything over 17" requires testing at Roehl.DaytonaDoug Thanks this.
-
No, even drivers are having to get this done. Do you plan on doing this and coming to Roehl? My understanding is this comes from your pocket. Is this true? Or they covering it?DaytonaDoug Thanks this.
