Any opinions on Gooseneck trailers?

That might work, but it looks like they would probably cover up the lights if not flipped all the way over.

 

You might be better off to just loose the ramps and block up to load/unload. That deckover makes it tough for cars.

 

Considering the insurance requirements for hauling cars being so high, if it wasn't my primary freight I wouldn't haul any but my own. The costs and liability of hauling them doesn't justify the low revenues generated.

 

You will must likly avage about 1.30 pm with that trailer.

trailer is to short you won't get many loads, brokers want hardly fool with a 32 footer and you have 5 foot of dovetail that's hard to load on. Hyd. disc brakes 100 times better than elec. drum ones. That's a 2500 upgrade though. with a 40 footer you have to make sure overall length isn't over 65 Ft. or you'll have to pull bed or buy annual over length permits in some states. average maintenance cost should b e around 3-4 cents a mile unless you're hard on a trailer.
