    Here is my situation.
I'm a 44 years old tree climber, I could be in better shape but I think I could run with one of them tarps.
I have a class A CDL with all endorsements except HAZMAT. I let it drop several years ago due to cost and non use.
My MVR is spotless and I got no criminal record period. I do no drugs or drink period.
I don't believe I even exist on the DAC as I was told by another company a few years back but I intend to take a peek at my 1 free look anyway before I fill an application out because I don't want any surprises.

I have driven Bulk Pneumatic, and 57 foot vans over the road and I did pretty good with it, probably a year of experience between the two.
I've also hauled a good bit of double bunk pulpwood as well locally.
My problem is all of that driving work was around 17 years ago and I know I need a tune up before I hit it again. I just need to drag a trailer around for a few days and I'd be good to go I think.

Will these guys really hire me with no current experience?
    Whats the deal with that?
Do they carry their own insurance?
You trainers must be Hella brave guys lol. I'd be skeered for my life.... :biggrin_2554:
I'm not complaining mind you, it just sounds to good to be true and I was fixing to spend good money for a refresher course
but if they hire and train/retrain I'd be really down for that.
This thread could possibly have saved me a bunch of money.
I'll even pay for my own room and meals lol!

I am sure that the recruiters can help you. Give Mason a call at the recruiting department.

I used to be a tree climber after I got out of the Navy. I got hurt more in the 6 months doing that than I did in 4.5 years of the Navy blowing up things and jumping out of airplanes. We did not have any fancy equipment...had to climb every tree.
This is not as hard of work as climbing trees..but almost as much fun....lol
    Best of luck to you!
