Start with Color Spot this morning! Will keep ya posted.

Well it keeps me closer to my three young children.......BUT I got to work everyday for one reason MONEY.

This is hard work and a pain looking for the racks yes but the money is pretty good. Today I broke down and loaded 50 racks and in the morning I will do the same with 20-25 more so

70 * $10 a rack (brokedown) = $700

Driver pay $120 * 2 (days) = $240

$20 overnight pay

and I get something for miles not much and .07 cents for plant contaniers...you laugh but one guy has $3500 in those 7 cent buggers

So $960 since yesterday evening, No this is not a bad job but it hurts sometimes I fell today and landed on one of the bottoms os the racks and hit the edge with my back. My head bounced off the end of the rack and shoulder must of hit something because when I took off my shirt I had blood on it.

A Home Depot employee ran over and started telling me how to get money for falling, What has this country come to?

I fell because I was tired and ket my guard down! No one fault but MINE!

It hurts but So Far I'm taking it like a man should......a couple of tears which were wiped away with the sweat from my forehead!

 

Well I fell at work and landed on my back! Bad!

I tore my kidney, bruised my liver, fractured my collar bone and tore some muscles in my back. Oh ya I was pissing blood for a week!

I never intended to charge Color Spot a penny, becuase I just thought I landed hard and would be ok in a couple days. Hell, I've taken many tumbles and been alright. A week after it happened I finally went to the doctor...stupid I know.

So the doctor tells me all ofthe above. I call work and tell them I need a couple days off to heal. No less than three people told me "well you cannot charge us for anything!" All using the same words! Not are you ok just don't bill us!

Now even though there were three people that saw the whole thing and I could pursue it. I will not! I will NEVER be the guy who lives off others. I fell and its on me this is how I see it!

Now I was actually making money breaking down the racks, well for two weeks we have been picking up all the racks. They are almost all back at the farm now. So now they want me to deliver plants for $120 a day UNLOADING 500 boxes a day BY HAND. What a afsdsfing JOKE!

I have had 3 liftgates break, a U bolt, a hindge pin fell out and another bent so with equipment that is falling apart they expect me to work for $8.57 an hour unloading boxes all day by hand!

Thanks but no thanks Color Spot! Some companies just blow my mimd. I drive an hour to work in a one ton pick to make $8.57 an hour why? They said I should take the good with the bad. well after the christmas season they will have almost no loads till spring and I haven't made enough money yet to pay my bills till spring.......screwed again

 

Thks has been a repeating pattern with me and thjs industry. Why do companies do this? With one I even had a clear contract with that the guy just broke and basically said tough. Now I was told "you will always have a ton of racks to break down, more than you'll want to" and just a few short weeks later NO RACKS!

Do people actually drive trucks for $8.57 an hour?

I cannot believe someone would but really do they?

I actually very much so trust the company the I'm due to start at in Jan. I hope I finally find a place where I can make good money for me and the company!
