They are looking at the 579 per Larry, we have 3 or 4 of them that they are testing now. The 579 isn't like the old 387s we had they had the tall built in sleeper that wouldn't fit in a lot of places, the 579 is like the 386s we have but the cab is wider inside and it can be fitted with the same sleeper we have now. I saw a 579 the other day with side stacks and chrome bumper and it looked good. I guess we will see what they get next. My choice would be go back to the 389s!!!!

Yea your right it is hard to keep up with! The 387s were updated 2 years ago and they changed it to the 587, and this year they intro a new model which is the 579, which I think is just a marketing and salesCyanide Thanks this.

Cyanide Thanks this. -
I saw one of the 579's it had the white bumper, I think anything would be better than the internationals
Cyanide Thanks this. -
They used to run Freightliners and Internationals over there. but I dont see them dropping there relationship with Rush Peterbilt.
The Preventive Maintenance Mechanics in Winter Haven used to be Rush employees just doing oil changes at the yard there. Fresh outta Mechanic School making hardly anything doing grease and oil.Cyanide Thanks this. -
I was at that Pete dealer last week it looked like there was a couple new ones just waiting to be lettered..

Can YOU afford to wait a week or longer to be reimbursed after spending $100 or more on tolls in a day or two? Especially when freight is moving at a snail's pace? If you can then you're better off than I am.
