Cement Truck kills 5, driver refuses breathalyzer

I heard about this tonight. Supposedly the driver was under the influence. Just horrific!

How horrid!!!! Did you read the comments? One said:

You can be charged with manslaughter here if you kill someone with a car. It's involuntary manslaughter but you do pay for it.

If that driver was drinking, I hope he never sees the light of day again and is punished the old-fashioned way in jail!!

Jail??? That would be to good for that slime bag... Use capital punishment. Take 5 lives for drinking and go to jail. I don't think so!!!!

Come on Now drivers lets think a little deeper. Investigate the company. Are you all newbies. Most likely the company ran off there good drivers, because of low pay or junk equipment. as a matter of fact I just left a job at Sandy Hill Readymix in Decatur Texas because they wanted me to continue to drive a mixer put out of service buy the Texas dps.And rightly so...one steering axle tire and one drive tire no low air buzzer. overweight. So the only guy that would continue too drive it would have to be a drunk or an idiot. So the cops should JAIL THE OWNER OF THE TRUCK..

 

How about this, putting a breathilizer in all comercial trucks, you have to breath in it before it will start. If you have any alcohol on your breath it won't start, if you don't you can go and do your job. It may be a little expensive to put in the trucks, but what is that expense to killing a family? My dad was killed by a drunk driver so i know what it feels like to lose a family member to alcohol.
