I can only speak for myself with my miles are averaging 12,000 per month. My shortest run was 736 miles my longest run was 2950 miles with an average run probably around 1400.
Detention time is $15 per hour but I have never been anywhere long enough to collect it yet.
They do have an owner operator and lease purchase program but I do not know any of the details about that.
As for home time I personally stay out five or six weeks and then go home for three or four days. I could probably take more days off but that is just the way I like to do it.

We were in Mapleton today and I was surprised to see we have hired 15 drivers since I came on board in Feb. Two were in orientation today. We must have bought a ##### load of new trucks cause the yard is full of old ones heading out the door.
Picked up some blank forms and envelopes, said hey to denzel and got the hell outta there! -
Parked in St. Albains waiting to deliver/load in the morning at you know where.....lots of Hollands around...anyone from here???

I got tired of playing tag with Denzil and gave up on them

Sorry to hear that MNdriver...he can be a pain to get ahold of at times....

Good luck in your search! -
Low on hours so I lost the nice 3000 mile load to Henderson and now Im sitting in Sandston VA. Delivered this morning and no where to go.
Oh well...nothing like a day off to play with my new IPAD..

No problem. My intention was to try to get on company side and then take a serious look at their lease program.
Instead, I am working on financing my own truck and going somewhere else. SO it's likely they simply lost a potential L/O. -
RICHERDMAN... hows it going over there nowadays, I live down in the Bellingham area and was wondering if you were still liking it all right at Holland. Hit me back!

He hasn't been on the forum in 2 months.
I would ask company questions in the "Motor Carriers, The Inside Scoop" forum. Start your own thread and you'll get more views and personalized responses. -
The first time I came in and they said they wanted to look in the truck I was a little taken aback. They said it is part of a routine we have to go through whenever we come through the yard now to make sure it is clean and drivers aren't taking apart the inside or whatever. I thought someone was going to get inside and start poking around, but they just looked in without even climbing the steps. No big deal. I guess if it looked bad from that vantage point they might look a little closer. But I rarely get through there much anyway. I've been out so long this time I'm getting my oil changed on the road.
