Thanks . Yeah , still with QC . Still in the same truck (over 670,000 miles )and getting the same rates .
-
QC seems to be confused, the recruiter said I was OK to hire-they need 6 drivers in my local terminal, the terminal manager says he does not need anyone.
-
All applications have to go through the corporate office . They send applications to the terminals . QC no longer employs drivers . All the terminals are affiliate owned and most affiliate owners hate having corporate pick who they should hire .
Our terminal gets about 5 times as many applications as they need .
QC can also choose to disqualify drivers (their term for terminate ) and the affiliate owner has to go along with it . Drivers have been let go for some pretty petty reasons .Big Duker Thanks this. -
I'm trying to tell but are you out of the Paducah, KY terminal??? Looks like a yellow Mac you got there.
-
Columbus terminal shut down, only thing there is the tank wash now. Everything is ran out of Southpoint, OH. There are about 5 of us left with 888 as our operating terminal and we are all hauling dry bulk.
-
I'm out of Owensboro but pull a lot of loads out of Calvert City . Both terminals are terminal 732 .SHC Thanks this.

I am not with QC but this is the slow time of year for chemical tankers. That is probably why they have no trucks now. Not enough freight to keep what they have busy. Come spring they will be hiring.
