thanks for that info

Percentage pay (as employee with proper deductions), plus a bonus program. Oilfield and industrial equipment flat deck work. Not a training company so you better know what you're doing.

As a new canadian (since 2006) I can say I have madethe same amount of Money as the canadian drivers. The first company I worked for was a disaster. L.R.Ushkowski was just bad. Stayed around for days. Now i have my own truck. I wouldn't be able to buy a house in Germany after 30 years as company driver. I will stay forever, sorry guys I love Canada.

What's the word on Tri-Mac?

THEY'VE BEEN AROUND FOR ABOUT 60-70 years now. Started as Maccam transport in Moose Jaw, SK by the Ford dealer which was owned by MacCaig and Cameron. Hence, Maccam.

I got to know Bud McCaig very well. He passed away just a couple of years ago. He was one of the owners of the Calgary Flames. -
After some experience working with some ok and than some really bad small company out of Mississauga, I finally came across some decent company, 5 nights at home and out of those 5 nights at home it was 2 days comletely off, and than 2 nights driving to PQ and back. That was my job for a week. It was a good pay, and i tought i have finally found a company that i was looking for, but however it didn't last. The company as it turns out as many others got bought out by transforce, so rate pay cuts came and i am again on a look out for another company that fits my preference.
Does anybody know anything about Laidlaw Tankers, how much can you take home with them or maybe Liquid Cargo ( Trimac) out of Mississauga. Any advice/suggestion appreciated in advance. Thank You and stay safe out there. -

Speking of caledon, wellllll. Just untill couple of days ago i was under the same impression, how ever I was parked at a customer's loading dock out of a Mississauga, anyway next to my truck there was a driver owner operator for Caledon sitting in his truck and arguing over the phone with his dispatcher. later I spoke to him and discovered that they are not so great to work with. Supposedly dispatcher is forcefull, ignorent to what driver is asking for, like time off.Supposedly their motto is ''you decided to be a truck driver, so be a part of a truck, live in it and die in it sort of their idea of a being a truck driver.''At least thats what that driver said about them. He also said they have a tendancy to rip you off every pay for 80-100 miles, as well as they tend to give easier runs to their company drivers. Any who I now would consider doing more homework before going to work with them. Cheers and drive safe out there.
