..."manners are..." might be more appropriate.
Seems you might be missing a "forte" as well.
How about ease up a little, man? You're highly principled. We get it.
Not condoning the "moron" comment either, BTW. I think it's too easy to get snarky here....hiding behind a keyboard....but what do I know?

really starting to get annoyed with this I am better than you attitude from drivers. Please spare me the I can do this or that better... because you have driven on a road before and know the ins and out of that road does not make you a better driver... it just means you have more experience on that particular road.
Now... everytime I see a trucker giving another trucker a hard time I will deliberitely go out of my way to help that driver. And when the know it all gets involved I tell the guy/girl to pissoff... its that simple dont be part of the problem. I know many of you think is fun watching a guy/girl struggle to back in... I say get off your fat ### and help them...
A few weeks ago a lady driver was struggling to back in... blind side with a dumpster in the way... 20 minutes in I walked over and asked if I could help... she said please yes I would love the help... I said drop the box and go park your truck I will call you when its unloaded... she couldn't thank me enough!!
So I say this... help your fellow drivers out there this is a Brotherhood/sisterhood. It may be you that needs help one day!!toostroked, Jseney12078 and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
It unnerves me to go under anything marked less than 13'6. Therefore I always decline loads going to the boroughs. Well, that coupled with the fact I can never secure freight coming out and the ridiculous tolls. They obviously don't want us there so I'm doing my part to accommodate them.

stop paving on top of the older pavement, remove older pavemet first, maybe take it down 12 inchs lower, then repave it.
Clearly maked all low clearances.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
it hasn't been perfect. and my phone has never failed as a backup for finding something the truck unit can't
take that back. ONE TIME becuase the business had just recently relocated on a brand spanking new street. only time i've called for directions. -
edit: Most of them say 'passenger cars only' - but I suppose that's why there's a requirement for CDL holders to be able to read and understand English...Last edited: Nov 24, 2012

I hate to add more to the color scheme addons, but it would be nice if the exits on 95 would have say a band of orange if it is a truck friendly exit, where if you somehow miss your exit, you can find another one to turn off and get rerouted back to where you are supposed to be. We didn't have a truck GPS back then and there are so many places which don't want you there, so it was sometimes difficult to get back to where you were supposed to be.
I have heard they have closed a section of the route 9 to truck traffic now also. -
That big sign you talk about is not everywhere you claim and there are parkways in NY you ARE allowed on but then again you wouldn't know that because you gave us you rightous opinion because you are one of those special drivers that has never made a mistake. Less than a year driving and you have all this knowledge.
On the BQE at atlantic ave. there are signs everywhere telling drivers to get off... low underpass... what do you do?
If you get of you are in the heart of Brooklyn with perhaps a 53 and sleeper... ut oh now what? You are now going to spend about 2 hours trying to get back to the spot you were. But then again you already knew this because you can read a sign that says get off... good luck my friend... please do not offer any new drivers advice you may get someone hurt!!TRKRSHONEY Thanks this.
