And why do they call us "Just steering wheel holders" .
I don't care for TQL either. They like to play a few games to get their loads covered. But They should've been informed at the second drop.
If you work with them, You might get paid to the second stop but sounds like you didn't haul any freight after that.
TQL refuses to pay for delivered load !

I'll take some responsibility on the matter. I wasnt allowed in the unloading area to see what they were taking off the truck and when i pulled out it was pitch dark and i was dead tired and just awaken minutes earlier.
-
I did inform them of what happened after the problem was discovered and at the last drop where there was no freight. The person i was talking to said that it wont be a problem.
-
Not ignoring any responsibility. TQL rep was advised and they received all the paperwork with signatures. I wasnt allowed on the unloading dock. It was 4 in the morning and i had been driving all day. Sometimes #### happens, but the post office are the ones who originally messed up and assumed everything was theirs. other two managers at other locations verified they had the freight and one wrote a letter to TQL.
-
The pallets were light and there was only four skids for two locations left, so its pretty hard to notice the difference in weight with just a few thousand pounds.
-
Yep>pretty expensive #### wasn't it?
You didn't jump in the trailer to count your freight before you left, YOU are to blame for all of this. -
You wouldnt notice the difference either in 2,000 pounds of freight. It was a light load.
-
Yes, I blame myself for not jumping into the back of the truck and checking but the P.O. is the source of the problem and made the mistake. I had a handwritten note from the last P.O. stating it wasnt a problem and they would receive it the next day from their own trucks. I even talked to TQL dispatch about it and was advised that it wasnt a problem.
-
You wouldnt find it funny if it happened to you. The only mistake I made was not checking the trailer before i left. After i realized the error i did everything i could to rectify it and communicated with TQL over it. TQL is just getting out of payment on a technicality. I hope they understand when I show up at their office a turn a few desks over and watch a few worthless desk jockeys have fear in their eyes.
