Tractor supply Co. Waverly NE. they are operated by worldwide dedicated services. I've talked to a couple of drivers for them and they seem to be pretty happy. I work for worldwide dedicated services Honda account. I know WDS has many different accounts, dont know them all but I've been happy as a team driver with them. The trick finding WDS comes in the fact that they are a division of UPS and, as such as it was explained to me WDS contracts with other companies to supply the drivers. Myself, the company that pays me is TeamOne contract services. thats my two cents.

If you want to go to work and make an excellent living as a team, go and talk to Old Dominion. They won't just hire the average idiot and you'll be pulling doubles but, you will make an above average living, all freight is terminal to terminal you run the way you want to and put up with no crap. All of that quickly makes pulling doubles very doable! Don't bother with the big truckload carriers! None of them are worth the powder it would take to blow them up...

Drive for Conway and you will do almost nothing but drop and hook linehaul.

I work for CRST as a team. I have a thread in the worst trucking company thread. Maybe worth a read to answer your questions about them. But the short of it is, absolutely positively do not drive for CRST. There are some great companies out there, this is among the worst of the worst.

We were conway truckload drivers, conway bought out CFI, but fired all of the people in Memphis, TN who ran Conway truckload, and put CFI in charge of things, the first thing we lost was terminal to terminal frt, things went downhill rather fast after the merger/buyout. We thought we found one of the best OTR team jobs, for over a year we worked there, after CFI, it was so different and so bad, we lasted 2 months and left.

i drive solo for Interstate (IDC), and there are lots of team drivers here. Teams seem to be there bread and butter. Good luck in your search!

How hard do you want to run? If you want to run balls to the wall then CFI will give you all the miles you can stand. My wife and i ran for them for a year but we left because they just ran us to hard. I mean the pay was great but most of the time you did not have time to stop for anything....and i mean anything! Home time was hard to get because they just did not want us to stop for anything and most of the time we just chucked our dirty laundry in the trash and bought new cloths because we did not have the time to stop and wash them. All of CFI's trucks are very nice and well maintained, speed was set at 72 mph. Gotta to have a fridge in the truck because unless your waiting for a load ( very rarely ) you will not have time to stop for a bite. We only ran from east to west and the miles every week were between 5000 to 6000 miles in 7 days.

Heartland was an outstanding company to drive for as well. We were always on the go but not to the extreme that we were at CFI. We mostly ran from east to west with no north east unless we wanted it. We did maybe once or twice a week wait on a load and uesely that was at one of there terminals. The equipment was fine although the trucks were set at 65 mph but we never did have a break down .Miles were always around 4500 to 5500 for 7 days. They would get us home when needed and keep us out as long as we wanted and the pay was great.

Like i say the money was good at both company's, it just depends on how hard you want to run.
