Made it to first stop and I didn't hit any bridges. So hope it goes well for the next few stops. Directions I planned out didn't work that good. I had checked the qualcomm b4 I left to see if they had directions to receiver and there directions were on point. Normally its empty so I don't even check to see. Just checked directions on qualcomm for the last stop but have them from coming from I 95 which I was going to do. So will check them out against the Google maps directions and later on call them to see if they know an even better/shorter way. It's 5:35am est and we back quiet.

My directions that I planned were ok. I just didn't know I couldn't make the turn from the part of the street I was on. Luckily there was a crossover right in time for the qualcomm directions which were easier then the ones I planned. I always double check directions on Google maps against GPS, Qualcomm and customers directions. My PC Miller GPS isn't the best in Philly, but gets me where I need to be. Paper maps are good but are hard to read when driving. I did a lot of walking before I had a GPS. Wasn't about to put myself in a place I couldn't get out of. I still do a lot of walking because some of the turns in NYC and the East coast are not doable with a 53 foot trailer and cars parked on both sides of the streets.

At second stop which was a couple miles down the road. I been here before, but didn't have to wait this long. I have 1 truck who gets in the door before me then its my turn. My 4 hours that I had available are ticking away slowly but surely. Really hoping to get to Souderton b4 my hours run out. Really want to get out of Philly before 2pm if possible if not. I better find somewhere to take my 8 hour break because rush hour is crazy here and my 14hour clock is not having it. When I got to second stop I had 4 trucks ahead of me. Now its one so hopefully this guy doesn't have much to take off. I only have 6 pallets and still have to go around the city to get to my last stop in which I'm suppose to be there by 1300. Hopefully there is no wait there, but I'm sure it will be. We are back quiet.

The street I have to turn down on at last stop. Made it here at 13:30. Took the scenic route. Did listen to Gps and turn down a street that had no thru trucks but no ticket so I'm good. Was a little short cut to the street I was going to turn on.
Oh ya 1 hour left on the clock and ticking and they are loading the truck in the picture so I won't get to Souderton just 30 something miles up the road until after I take my 8 hour break. Already planned out a spot on the next street I'll make it too. Hopefully I won't get bothered for 8 hours not sure. Will see. -
Well unloaded at 8 am ,sent dispatch a message, got one back to phone office, called, was told to go and get a drug test done. Asked why the only people on drugs in this company work in the office. Office how pissd at me again. But who cares, if the truth hurts that bad. Parked up at the flying J tommorrow night will know if I am bobtailiing home or if they have a load. Dispatcher told me he doesnt like threats. Told him was just giving him a heads up. Load or bobtail the choice is theirs either way I will be going home.

Just made it too Ridgewood,NY/Queens and there is parking can't believe it. Probably because all the lumber companies trucks are being loaded right now. So its 3:45 est. Waiting for my 8am apt. 6 pallets hopefully they can take off pretty quick and then to Tauton,Mass for 2nd stop tomorrow at 6am. Currently have 6 hours left on the 70. Will be gaining 10hr and 48min tonight at midnight mountain standard time. So should have some decent running room. Currently not yet pre planned hope that changes before the end of the day. Nap time till check in. Have a good morning and a blessed day.

Real Time Update. Just parked in the receiver's lot a few minutes ago. With only 15mins left on my 14 hour clock. Checked in at 7 am for my 8 am apt, and to my surprise they told me to get in a door. Guess because I only had 6 pallets. Took longer to get the guy to sign off on the paper work then to unload it. Then I hit the morning rush hour NYC traffic. I gotta say It wasn't as bad as I was thinking. I think it was worse after I got on the 95 just North of the City heading to Connecticut and it was all slow go pretty much all the way here. Hit snow when I got in mass, but was just wet snow. For a moment it was freezing on my windshield but then the temp went up a little and it melted off. Only have 0:47 minutes left on 70 so with the addition of those hours I gain at midnight should be able to do a full 11 if I get a load. I have 9,8,10 and 10 coming off the next few days so the planner should be able to hook me up with something decent. If I can get this load transfloed I'll have around 2400 miles for the week not bad considering it was a Holiday week. So I'll get Holiday pay, and NYC pay. If of course I get it turned in b4 midnight mountain time on Wednesday.
Hope all is way in your neck of the woods. I'll go and check weather. I hear PA, might get lots of snow today. I might even wake up from my nap and see some on my hood. Like I said earlier its snowing now but just wet. Tomorrow should be a good day and this mess should be finished. Anyway nap time.
