But please explain to me, or have a representative from C.R. England explain to me how your locating a better job (which would include anything up to and including cleaning out septic tanks in nothing more then your boxer shorts) would be of any interest to the Department of Home(less)Land (in)Security? Seriously, you bought into this crap? Quit, give them back their truck, and take the better opportunity. Do it tomorrow, CRE ain't even worth a two week notice...

 

One thing they may put on your DAC is somewhere on there they list your Cdl driving jobs and the company will say that rehire will have to be reviewed. I am not sure if this maybe what they put on everyones DAC when they quit a company; to me it doesn't look very good.

 

only the mega carriers use dac. if your smart, you'll never work for another mega carrier.

my dac says elgible for rehire under review. IF it's still on there.

here's what i did.

i went to school. back then it was 1 year. i did 2 weeks otr training. she had a dedicated account that had her home on the weekends. i called in sick. and never went back. 6 months later i disputed the negative account from my credit profile. it was only listed with one agency. not all 3. 30 days later it was removed.

or you can take the long way. a negative account stays on credit for 7 years.

back then it was $5 G's. i never paid one penny.

don't listen to the other posts. take the new job. and get on with your life. why stay with a lousy company any longer then you have to. as for experience. it don't matter where you work. your getting experience.

homeland security. what do they care if you quit your job. it's just some stupid tactic someone thought of. cuz i see newbies posting about school on this sight. your the first to say something about this peace of paper you signed.

as for fedex. they are ALWAYS hiring. around here ads are repeatedly posted 7 days a week.

 

I also work for cre and my 6 months are up.i did my 6 months becuse I want other company's to look and see that I stuck it out with a crapy company and filled my end of the bargain.dont burn your bridges man stick it out for the 2 months and yes you will get a fat bill,my buddy got a $6000.00 bill in the mail and its going up every day.and nailed him on his dac.good luck with what ever you do.
