OK... When you say second lane... Is that second from the left or right? If its the left, that's the same one I was in too... To get a lawyer to fight it for me, since I wasn't signed up, it would have been $200 more than the ticket... I know, I now have points, but .... :/

Sorry I should have been more specific. I was in my personal car coming home from Thanksgiving. I turned off of 97 which was 65 but apparently when you turn left and take it through Topanish, WA it is 55. He clocked me going 67. You could tell he did not want to give me a ticket once he saw my cdl. He asked "What do you think the speed is through here?" Me "65 officer" him "You got one of those fancy gps' that tell you the speed limit in your truck?"" Me "Yes officer" "well learn how to read the signs better, have a good night."
So I was lucky, I was trying to figure out if a violation in my personal car would cause an issue.Arkansas Frost Thanks this. -

Doulos, check into flying. They'll reimburse you up to the cost of the bus ticket. I'd gladly pay $50-60 not to ever ride a greyhound again. Good luck an Merry Xmas!
Moose, I was leaving this morning and the part in part one of your ticket message sank in... The part where you were picking up your truck in the a.m... I was like, duhh!! He didn't have his truck last night, lol. I keep telling myself I'll stay off TTR until I'm awake. I do believe any moving violations, personal or otherwise, will have an impact on a drivers CSA. That's why I sprung for the $7/wk legal. I don't plan on doing anything wrong but ##it happens -
you were in lane #3. i was in #2.
and 20 miles over is very seriously frowned on. it would have been my second ticket. so i paid the $700 lawyer fee.
what pisses me off is that they can't just fine me but drop the tickets. i understand your hurting for money but do you really need to have it as a ticket. sheesh. just take my money and we'll forget the ticket ever happened. wouldn't hurt my feelings any.Lady K Thanks this. -
Any tickets received in a non commercial vehicle will NOT count on a drivers CSA, however any and all tickets will count on your MVR or license. The whole CSA program was set up to gauge motor carriers and their drivers on a professional level. What you do in your private vehicle has nothing to do with CSA.

Hi everyone, new to the thread. Starting with Central 17th next month. Starting in Conley then off to Utah. Looking forward to this and very glad I found this thread and the previous one that closed. Quite a bit of good info that has helped

A note this does not mean a full level 1, as even a paperwork only (logs, cdl, bol , Med card) counts as an inspection if I'm not mistaken.
Welcome cyn1123Arkansas Frost and cyn1123 Thank this. -

i don't think tickets go on your csa. period.
i've gotten a few. none of them have appeared but they weren't part of a inspection.
now, i do have inspections. most all passed. only have one with a mudflap. and another with speeding. neither were tickets though.
if a cop feels your going to fight his tickets. then he'll give you an inspection with items. cuz he knows you can't fight that. one way or another. he'll make sure you have something to show for the next 3 years.
