    $1,850 / 4 loads =$462.50 a load. Wouldn't that be better than ND?

You dont know what your talking about. I haul oil in Texas , and the minimum I make is 300 a day. Home every night. Granted it is not ND money, but it works for me, and not freezing my butt off like the yanks. 1850 a day is BS . You are spreading lies, so please tell the folks the truth

    stihls68 Thanks this.

first off. I am not a liar. Secondly if you read the post correctly, you will see I am talking about what barrel pay is. Not as a driver but as an O/O Contractor. As a driver you will do 250 to 300 max out here. 300 may be good for you but thats chicken #### money for most of us who want to make real money out here and be away from our families. Ok and Tx for a driver, you will make 250 to 300 max on the average! There, I cant be any clearer than that. My O/O makes 1850 per day on 4 loads @ 2.57 to 3.57 per bbl and I make 25% of that which is approx. 462.50 on a 4 load day. Hope this clears things up.... I forgot I was dealing with truckers.....

You're right about the people lying here and in TX. I don't know if it's because oil has been here before, unlike ND, or something about the southern influence.

Hear this... YOU WILL NOT MAKE NORTH DAKOTA WAGES OUTSIDE OF ND UNLESS YOU GO TO AFGHANISTAN!!!

Look, there weren't that many people in ND to begin with. Now with the recent boom, the towns up there HATE oil (unless they are in the 1% of ND natives that get an oil check) and they HATE anyone not from ND.

Do NOT leave ND for OK or TX thinking the money will be just as good. Ain't happening.

But back on topic, there IS work around Enid if you apply and wait. Things move slow here in the South, and my friends working oil in Enid tell me exactly what I started this thread with... $300/day or $400/night via commission (which means running your ### off, pumping without "always" spinning the samples (what samples?) and fudging your wait time pay). They also recently tell me with the ND guys coming South for the Winter, there is more competition for seasonal Winter work here. That's good news for ND guys but bad news for OK and TX guys.

Hi ... I'm a little confused iif you don't mind straightening a few things out. Are you an O/O with a driver or do you work for the company or drive a company or O/O truck? How many axles, bbls, do you need to make those rates? Exactly who are you with and and will they supply you with crude, water sand, or salt trailers, if needed? We are an O/O with our own authorities. Will they supply contracts or so they want you to lease on? Tkx for any info.

There are a few apples to oranges that might make it acceptable to others ND. A Cementer here at Halliburton doesn't make what A Cementer does there; but you can get the position here and make as much as much hourly as someone with 1 year under there belt there. You can even get the position in 1 year down here at our yard as well. They all seem to Move up there after a while... /shrug but $20.00 an Hour and 200+ pay periods always equals $5500.00 a pay period.... :biggrin_25522::biggrin_2559::biggrin_25514: $300.00 in per dim was added.

Arod -- how's the housing situation? To get 4 runs....how many hours a day does that take you? And are you guys consistently busy? It's bad in ND right now. No work. At least not for my husband. It's steady, then it's dead, then they're busy, then it's dead....would love to just get a job where you can get a steady paycheck!
