So let me guess. No one could possibly be happy at CRST, and id someone claims to be, they MUST work in the office? Sorry to burst your conspiracy bubble. I'm a driver, and everything they do is no different than any other BFI.

that made my day lol!

I've never met anyone who wasn't either an O/O or a ###### trainer running students like Cos who had positive things to say about CRST. Find me somebody who thinks running loads for pennies and sharing an 8X12 box with a complete stranger is fun stuff. Go ahead, I'll wait for ya..

Ahh the joys of a steering wheel holder scorned. Is CRST the ONLY company that runs teams ? Do they falsely lead you to believe you will be solo ? Did they make ANY misrepresentation about their pay in the beginning ? *psst* Its posted on their website, wink wink. If you didnt want to live in a " 8X12 box with a complete stranger", and to be "running loads for pennies", why did you even bother to come out ? Sounds like a ####### move on your part. However, I can tell you THIS much. I enjoy my job thorughly, and with the exception of the holiday, my co and I are ALWAYS moving. Might be because we know how to talk to people, and do our jobs without whining to anyone who will listen. But hey, what do I know. After all, i dont exist.....lmao

Actually their recruiters have gotten in trouble for misrepresenting CRST's status as a team operation. Up until last year, CRST VAN EX included the words Solo Drivers Wanted in their recruiting practices, failing to mention that only Malone runs solo. I'm glad you're so gay for the Van Ex side though, they need all the cheerleading they can get these days. -
Don't be so bitter, bro. Not everyone can handle the big trucks. It's good you managed to find another use for that CDL. Good for ya. We researched it for over a year before going, and never once saw anything about solo. So why keep harping on a company for something they used to do?

I enjoyed my time with CRST.

It's less about the trucks and more about the lifestyle. Anyone can pull a 53 footer with a little practice. And I'm not saying it's completely impossible to have a favorable experience with CRST... some of their trainers are decent when it comes down to it. But to excuse the fact that they lied and wrote up illegal work contracts simply to bring people on and warm their seats is disingenuous. Just because they didn't lie directly to you doesn't mean they didn't do it to thousands of other people, and if you were on the receiving of those lies, I'm sure your attitude would be different. To say that it "happened in the past" and therefore doesn't matter now fails to recognize the people it did effect and simply isn't fair.

How many times in your life have you lied or misrepresented a statement or didn't tell the truth????? Nobody's perfect, and that means any corporation trucking or not!
-
Rarely, if ever, would I blatently lie to somebody when it came to something as important as their meal ticket. Moreover, I'd venture to say that not in a million years would I continue to perpetuate those lies once I've been proven wrong. I guess you and I have a different set of standards and morals though, don't we..
To the defense of CRST, they have always cooperated with any and all class action settlements, whether or not they agreed with the verdict...
but when their feet were literally placed to the fire, they still refused to admit to any wrong doing, even in the face of stone cold evidence. Ask yourself, is that really a company you want to trust with your livelyhood...
