Real Time Kinda sorta update. Was pre planned about an hour ago. For load once I'm MT in the AM.

Load miles 802 MT Miles 211

    PU Newark,NJ 11/28/12 0800-1500
Deliver 11/30/12 Elk grove Village,IL No apt time but does say fcfs (first come first serve).

Was hoping I wouldn't have to go through the city for a few days but guess I'll be heading down I 95 once again. Will see what type of place I'll be picking up in Newark. Sure it will be interesting. That's all folks. Now back to your regular scheduled programming.

Just did my run through using google maps street view and seems If I followed the Google directions I would of went under a low bridge. So I continued down the highway and found 1 only one 13'6 clearance that will get me to shipper. So again Google maps rock. Not sure if you can see the street views on phone or tablet so get a lap top and save yourself some heartache. Good day.

Should be getting the paper work from the lumper some time soon. In the plans today are getting trailer washed out at the Blue Beacon in Milford, CT along with transfloing last trip at the Pilot next door. Then playing in NYC traffic after that docking trailer at Newark Refrigeration where I hope to get a nice light load of some refrigerated product that I don't have to scale. I doubt it but wishful thinking is fun. Just as I was typing this up. Got my bills so. Off to see the wizard the wonderful wizard of oz.

Real Time Update. Sitting getting loaded in Newark. The order called for 49,000 pounds. Not in this reefer. So they are cutting a few pallets of wine. Guess they wanted it chilled so all the folks can have a party in Chi town. Didn't have as bad of traffic as I thought I would. Pretty mellow ride in through the Big city. Well about to head to the Chicago land area in a few. 6 Hr and 40 mins left on the 70. Gaining 9 hr 08min at midnight. That should be enough to get this load to receiver. Well c ya at the next update. G day.

Sounds as if your NYC trip went fairly flawlessly. Excellent job man! See, the northeast isn't that bad! Pavement is pavement right?! Keep up the good work man, drive safe out there...

Last Update for the day. Made it to Brookville,PA one of my fav's because all the parking. Did something I normally don't do. I didn't scale out as soon as I could. Tell you the truth I just scaled out a few minutes ago. 3 to 400 miles down the road. I just didn't fill like stopping. I didn't think I was that heavy the way I was blowing doors off the large cars in the PA hills. Finally scaled out and I'm only 72,460 I guess they cut more then they should have. The Paper work said 41,000 So I figured I should be all right. But I had the tandems all the way forward and thought I might be a little heavy on the axle. I did move the axel back before I scaled a few holes. Not as much as I thought I did. Weight was still good.

Also used the wrong debit card today hoping I don't get a over draft for going 4 bucks over. Only time will tell. Well its time to hit the showers and get some Z's you folks be cool on your stool and we will catch you on the rebound.

Good morning folks. Decided to start a little later in the day since load is not due till Friday. I woke up and looked at my display for battery voltage for inverter it was 11.5. I was like uhh ohh. I was running the heat thingy and you have to leave the key on. The on position and even though I turned off the heat. I forgot to turn the key to the off position. So I have been trying to charge my batteries with the reefer batteries so. Hopefully I'll be hitting the road soon. Have a safe and great day. God bless

Yippee it started. Didn't start the first few times I tried so I had to let it stay on there a while. Time to roll. Have 10hr 15min left on the 70 today. So should have enough time to get there. Gaining 8hr 37mins at midnigt. So should be able to get a pre plan tmrw. Going to set my pta for 10 am and see what happens. Again have fun

Hey Dinomite if you are hauling a reefer keep some long jumper cables on board and you can start the truck off your reefer if your batteries go dead.

    Dinomite Thanks this.
