    Checked in at 1415 local time and..........still here at 0751 local time. The guard this morning who.finally sent me to the docks said the end of the month here is always like this.

    i am in goodyear, there in lawton a lot , there always seems to be a lot of trucks backed up there. Seems like its that way all the time. It just sucks! Good luck

    Well despite their best efforts, I made it to my delivery before the noon cutoff time, otherwise I'd be stuck under this load all weekend. All I have to say is thank goodness for looseleaf logs.

    One of our trucks got there at 1900 on Tuesday (11/27) and didn't leave until 0730 the next morning. The broker, Cowan Logistics, said the customer doesn't normally pay detention.

    They probably figure, its a paper mill, don't send us somebody unless he needs a 10 hr break, lol. At least they let the guys who ran out of their 14 on elogs stay on the lot, unlike the mill up in Prewitt, NM where you better leave a 15 min window so you can drive up the road to park.
