Wife is only 5 feet tall...can she drive a truck?

    Being that small and light, I'm assuming she is not the female equivalent of the Michelin Man, she might have problems with Tendinitis in her left foot from shifting. Make sure she wears hard soled shoes when driving.

    I don't know about drive, but she sure can hold the wheel till she hit something :) My wife is 5'3 she can't even drive a car. Well to my standard anyway.

    Would love to see her drive an old truck with no power steering. I'm 6'4'' and sometimes backing would nearly be standing cranking on the wheel while backing. At least she would have room to stand up.

    I've seen alot of short and small ppl out here and some flatbedding.If they can do it then so can your wife.

    hubby used to drive a trk with no power steering.....you are right...i drove it around the block once...HARD AS HECK.....


    as for being short and driving ..this is a common question on this forum....i am 5'3...and i have no problems....and i dont even need air in my seat..(.and no thats not to look cool.....ask any cowhauler why they do it.....you can feel what your trailer is doing better is you dont have air)...nearly always been in a big hood too....she will be fine...

    My wife was 5' but is losing height because of age and medical problems,I told her the other day,

    that, I heard a commercial , if you're less that 4"6" in Mass,you need a booster seat .
