I'll second (or fifth) the Midway Diner. Just stopped by there recently coming out of CT from delivering some generators for the storm. Although I had the meatloaf that time and it was a little dry, but typically their food is good and very affordable. It's next to some hotel, either comfort or quality inn, can't remember. Plenty of parking and easy on/off.

There IS a Panera in Gillette, NJ that is a bit off 78, but not TOO far. 2 County roads to it, so it can be traveled by truck. It is located in an old Pathmark shopping center/mall that has a WEALTH of parking.

If you run 22 from I think exit 6 in PA, there's a small grocery store you can get food at, as well as a diner next door, can't remember the names right now. You then just run 22 until you get to the road the TA off 81 is on make a right and you're on the big road or just go down 22 till you hit 83 and go into MDT. Hint, if the lights are flashing on 81, this is a bypass!!! ;)

I used to stop at that Midway Diner at exit 16 every Wednesday night. Dirt lot that smells like chicken poop in the summer, and a couple lot lizards running around. Not a particularly savory combination.... HA!

Im keepin the good ones to my self! LOL--and Joseph--as for Yucco--spoken just like my wife's 12th generation Valley family--and Ill bet you eat em w/chocolate milk too!
Now just to update and this ISNT for the locals--stay away from 67 at moment--at least till construction is done on ramp--easiest(with a truck)quick coffee stop 78 east--follow 309 north at Split--first exit--Tighman street west--curve around follow 1/2 mile HUGE Kmart on Right with DUNKIN DONUTS--leave parking lot right--go 3/4 mile stay in left lane as Tilghman widens to 4 lane--on ramp to 22 west right at 78 merge and away you go!
Sorry Joseph couldn't resist the Choclate milk thing! LOL
Oh yeah and for quick coffee--Midway does work good--just dont go to diner-north off ramp--Exxon on left--just pull into fuel island run in and out.
