Could someone explain percentage of the Load

    The average PMTG driver wage for the last 3 years was $72,000 plus
    benefits. Driver wages (other than training wages) are paid at
    approximately 20% of the revenue for all outbound loads. Wages average
    approximately $0.55 per mile for all miles driven.

    Please explain what this means

    say revenue is 1100.00, you get 20% of that which would be 220.00
    you would then divide your pay (220.00) by the total pay miles driven
    example 220.00/400=.55 cpm

    No kidding. I get 28% and that works out to about .36/mile. I take it because I may spend 1 night a month on the road and I'm off from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.

    I hauled sand that way! made a ton of money and worked mu butt off. its good money. Just remember to keep track of the loads and how much they pay. people make mistakes and it could cost you money

    When dealing with % load / pay formulas, the 'mistakes' aren't always 'mistakes' ..... catch my drift ? Keep GOOD records !
