Not to mention....always getting screwed out of miles that you drive...when it takes 1400 miles to get somewhere ...we should get paid for that 1400!!!!!...not the 1293 mile their willing to pay....i was told from a dbl...."that's the nature of the beast so deal with it"!

I hate to seem like a whine bag but seems to me like we as drivers are always getting the raw end of the deal with this company. I've been setting in gary since friday night....still no load yet. And if they are soooo dang slow then why keep hiring new people all the time? Makes no since to me. I'm a very hard worker and love doing what im doing but....we give to much of our time to them for free!!! $65 bucks for 24hrs on layover ????? Not to mention all the free miles we give up....seems like a waist of time to me. We are all here for one thing...to make money. $500 a week isn't enough$$$$ being away from your family for weeks on end.

Well u can always get on a different account or get a loan and purchase your own truck or go with a different company all the negativity is just gonna end up hurting u . In the end everybody has bad days and weeks in this industry but it is what it is. We all knew what we were getting into when we decided this career path so just ride the storm out for now

You have to be on the tanker side. I know a person on that side that waits a day or two for loads also. Maybe if you get nalco certified and get your TWIC and hazmat, you won't sit as long. Nalco loads are the tanker's bread and butter.

If its so bad over on the bulk side then why not try switching over to dry van. I have no problems getting loads or miles.
