Hey Me99, thanks for the information. I have a few questions I'd like to ask you but your storage is full. Would you be able to clear a message so I could send mine through? Thanks, Nathan

I am new to using a forum. Any help appreciated...I still need to look at the site and read some instructions. I would appreciate contact about the thread on Schneider Oil Field jobs in Texas or elsewhere. I have only a years experience driving, been 7 years since I drove. Want to get in full time career wise and am interested in the oil field jobs.

Rock Doctor doesn't seem to post much these days. I believe he left Schneider for greener pastures. Not sure about Stubby; last I heard he was still with Schneider, but that was a few months ago.
As for me, I never worked at Schneider. I hired on with Key Energy and am still driving a kill truck for them.hunnydew Thanks this. -
Talked to a couple bulk drivers not to long ago hauling frac sand. Home daily unless you run out of hours on a pad, around $70-80K a year salary not hourly, precentage or by the mile. Have to relocate or already live in the area. Worth living in the desert with a bunch of mexicans? Don't think so.

I work with them everyday, and I'm happy to do it. The ones I know are hard working, and their food is pretty good to. Besides, they're no worse than some of the coonasses I've met

Follow up : Just finished our lunch break. The pulling unit crew made a huge batch of fajitas for us. My belly is full and in a couple hours I'll be home with my family, just like every night. I ain't getting rich but I'm saving $$ and I just bought a brand new 4x4. You're right, it ain't worth it. You should stay in Shreveport.Last edited: Dec 4, 2012
