I have a Truckfridge that quit working years ago. I took it out a put it in storage. I took it out last year and soldered a service port on it. I gassed it up and it worked for 2 days. I couldn't find the leak so I called Central states Thermo King in Okc. The said bring it out. The tech reinstalled the service port that I installed with better solder, found and repaired the leak and charged it back up. It was only $100.00 or so. Well worth it. I'm pretty sure your Waeco is almost identical to a Truckfridge. It uses 134a. One other thing I have ran into is loose connection at the electronic control box near the compressor.
