After another sweet weekend with the Fam I ended up heading out on Sunday evening and headed for my delivery in KY. Had to wait for an empty to show up at Kingsford then I headed over to Berea to pick up a load I ended up dropping in Chattanooga of all places. Slept in my own bed last night. Showed up at the truck this morning just before 8 and got a call from my FM. Had a hot load to pick up in Cleveland, about six miles from my house that I had to get to Monterey, TN as quickly as possible. Got that delivered and then headed over to pick up some tile in Crossville. The trailer was ready to roll four hours early. Gotta love that. Now I am sitting at my first drop in Fletcher NC then will head to Myrtle Beach SC after I get unloaded in the morning.
I hope they keep me as busy as I have been to start the week. -
I'm sitting here for the night at the TA near Gary, In, myself. I got a load going to Richmond, VA but looks like I may get diverted because of mechanical problems. My truck is only pulling fuel from one tank and maintenance thinks it may be a more serious underlying problem of some sort.

It's a Freightliner. Not sure of the year model but it has over 660,000 on the odometer. It's been rode hard. I had the shop in Cincinatti (actually, Erlanger) look at it. When I got there, however, it seems to have started pulling some fuel from the driver's side. The mechanic said he thought the vent line for that side was stopped up keeping it from being able to pull fuel. He blew the line out and said it seemed like it was cloged. i hope it works or it is a matter of time before I get stranded on the side of the road not realizing I don't have access to all of my fuel. What would be fun is if it happens in rush hour traffic in Atlanta or somewhere like that.
