My question here is to get information based on a response from my other thread "Rookie reaching out". I started this new thread so as not to confuse the topics.
The point brought up by "gokiddogo" about operating under fatigue and the company being under the microscope? This company, the company I am working for, is definitely under the microscope. They were recently under mandatory audit. The current company rating is 65% according to FMCSA "SAFER" web site.
What is a common rating for most average companies? Lets run the full spectrum here... large company to small company. What is considered an "average" company rating?
With regards to company ratings? When should I be concerned about my involvement?
Company safety rating? When should I....

I can't say where my Company rates cause the application to find out is $20.00 but I do know we get waved through most DOT check stations and the last time I was stopped for a full DOT (Donner's Pass, CA), I passed it without a hitch (it's nice to have that sticker on your window for a year... no-one bothers you).

Put your time in and move on to something better when you can. Worry about yourself and you'll be fine.

Doesn't cost a thing to check out your company--just go to Safers.org--click company snapshot--put in your companies DOT# and viola
-
Yeah, I have checked it out.... the company rating is 65% with violations for operating fatigued.

What is the average price/mile from west coast to east, south to north, and vice versa? -

Thank you for prompting me to clear up my statement. I see where I went wrong with that statement regarding 65%. I hope my new post clears up what I was trying to say.
