This is proof of my threads and posts on how to quit a company of how much junk you have in the truck that needs to go home with you and why you have your own vehicle sitting at the yard or the money to get home however it takes from the farthest point on the North American continent to the house! Also a good reason not to live on one coast and drive out of another or more than 500 miles from the house!

 

I agree 100%. I learned a long time ago not to work for any company that, is not within 100 or miles of were i live, and i make sure the company runs out and comes back on a regular schedule. It only took one time to make that mistake, and only once to find the right job.( well maybe not the right but close enough)

 

So when is gonna become an interesting read?False advertising!

 

Wow....my husband just went to work for them and now I am wondering if he made a mistake. They told him they were family oriented and he mentioned to them that he was a father of a 7 month old son. They told him he would be home as much as often as possible because of his son...how true is this? Did he make a mistake?

It sounds to me like this guy isnt cut out for it. No company starts you balls to the walls miles. Then he didnt put in 2 week notice and threatened to deadhead and waste fuel to quit. Then number 3 he whined about them not giving him a rental car. Im sorry but you just up and quit and expect me to get you home?
As for your husband let it ride and see how they are. If it doesnt work have him leave on good terms so he can easily go elsewhere.
