What do i need on the side of my truck?

    I am from WI. What do i need on the side of my truck to be legal for in state only?

    Trucking Company
    Usdot #
    Lc #
    Empty weight

    Anything I'm forgetting or any of those i don't need?

    What else would i need if i want to haul out of state? MC# and what else?

    Do you have Intrastate authority in WI? I would think that would be a requirement for in-state hauling and that would need to be displayed also. Used to have to show your home-base city also, but I think that was dropped at least in my area. All states are subject to have their own requirements.

    I thought MC numbers went out with the ICC, but maybe not; I've got both but I applied for authority in '93.

    Get your IFTA sticker on if you're going across the state line.

    I don't show weight or VIN as I see many trucks displaying.

    im from pa....all i have ever run is my company name truck number ifta sticker us dot mc number . never a gross weight limit or city orgin

    The LC# is his intrastate.

    If you're going into Colorado at all, put the last 8 of the VIN on there, or you're going to be walking inside at every scale/port of entry.
