As many of you are probably aware, Navistar is adding Cummins SCR to its Maxxforce 13 and 11 engines (out April/May '13), and completely dropping the 15 in favor of the Cummins 1SX 15 (Jan '13). For prospective International buyers out there, is this something you guys are looking forward to?

Specifically I'm wondering what peoples thoughts are about whether the shift to SCR might be able to alleviate some of the quality issues on the Maxxforce engines.

You'd be shocked at how many people think trucks are all the same and don't research anything before they buy!

O.K. But have they resolved the fuel system issues..(uneven fuel pickup, guages not working properly)??...so many other issues that are not engine related...hate to think it may be because these models are assembled in Mexico, but there seems to be some major quality issues. Truck might be as poor if built elsewhere, who knows?? But if it were my nickle, I would buy another brand until International built better quality trucks. I do like the body style, interior storage and driver comforts...but, that doesn't make up for the major problems this model has...I know honesty isn't always kind, but it is truthful....good luck to International and all of their hard working employees.
