I'm in the same boat cool35. This is part of the reason I switched careers from route sales to transport. I can do this til I die. Well, that, and the Lot Lizards. :biggrin_2559:

Yeah I'm glad I got all my endorsements when I first started trucking. Every 5 years I just need to renew my hazmat. Thank God, I would hate to take all 7 of those tests again!

Man, I'm bored. lol Since I quit drinking, I've been hard pressed to find things to do that don't involve drinking. lol No big deal when I'm working, but, this is the first time I've ever been unemployed.
Haven't heard from UPS so I guess I didn't get either job I applied for (OTR Driver or Step Van). JERKS! lol
Well, when I say I quit drinking, I mean it is no longer the center of my life. lol And I don't drink & drive any longer. And I don't drink the hard stuff any longer. I will drink a few brews every once in awhile. You know, I think I will go visit the girls at the hotel (Radisson) I lived at when I first started with YRC. They are sweet and they probably miss me (I am a #######, righteous dude, ya know?) lol It's less than a mile away from the apartment I live at now, and, if I get too buzzed, I can just stay the night there. I still have a couple free nights left on Club Carlson. 4.gif

Not alcohol for me this weekend. Planning on giving my liver a break after all the consumption over the past two weeks...

tomorrow I'm getting up early, going to fire up the smoker and make a bunch of different meats. Got the motorcycle registered as well and maybe take it for a spin if the weather permits

Life sucks for me since I quit drinking. I should start again! Should buy a smoker too. Sounds good.

I used to have a smoker. lol I remember the first time I smoked something, I just used wood & smoked the HELL out of the meat. I thought, 'man, this is gonna be great'. Well, the meat was inedible. lol That was my first lesson; you CAN over smoke your meat. Once I got the hang of it though, it became very useful at my parties. My most fond memory was when a buddy of mine came back from a fishing trip with a bunch of salmon, so, he brought them over & we smoked them & had a party. Man, what a yummy memory. Well, I really enjoyed the keg of Löwenbräu as well. View attachment 39672
