You use the resistor to jump the plug you don't plug it back into he sensor. I taped mine up then put it into a 4" lenth of split wire loom. Then slid that down over the sensor and tapped and wire tied it all up. It looks as if it's plugged in but it's not.

Factory CAT flash files won't give you a fuel mileage increase with the Acert engines, you need a modified program with advanced injection timing to do this

On a MXS acert with stage 1 installed on it does the fuel wire mod do any thing good or bad?

Sent from my brilliantly capable phone using my limited typing skills.

An Acert needs to "cruise" @ 1200-1300 thats NOT lugging an Acert.

His trucks are '07's that makes the engines NXS or maybe MXS either way parts and labor to convert to 6NZ or 7CZ is closer to 12,000USD. With the technology out there now a Stage 1 Haney tune, and driving it like you have a little bit of sense(very important part of the equation), should put him solidly in the 6's if your geared to cruise about 1200-1300 it'll do even better. The torque peaks @1200 on these.
And since you got me up here on my soap box its ACERT not ACCERT,:biggrin_25522:sorry sometimes I can't keep my mouth shut.

Be careful asking performance questions on these boards. I've noticed the first thing most of them say is "bypass all that emissions crap"... Without knowing who you are or what you do. You own an '07 so at least DPF isnt an issue but doing any mods in the ECM will get you a "no go" in the worlds 8th largest economy. If you live in Ohio and do local work, go for it, but if you lease on to a company that expects you to go to California you will be shut down at the first ARB checkpoint. California Air Resources Board now owns hundreds of portable ECM readers and beginning January first will be plugging into dash boards to look for modifications. The readers are "read only" so they cant be accused of changing anything in the ECM. I've also notice that many of these "techs" on here will tell you its not illegal or that you wont get caught. So before you go making your truck a "47 stater" read the California Code of Regulation Title 13 section 2183 "Inspection of the emission control system on a heavy vehicle".
    Do your homework.
