Adding stuff to US Xpress Trucks

    So I had a question about being assigned a truck. Does USX allow to add things to your truck to make your time more pleasent? Such as a portable TV, portable satellite radio. Im a ham radio operator Id like to bring along either my VHF or HF rig and antenna (all of which are simple plug and play no modifications neede) Was just wondering, really cannot get an answer from the recruiters.

    I'm pretty sure the dont care what your play toys are... I knows you can have a TV and SAT Radio and I'd bet tVHFor HF shouldn't be much of a problem either...

    I know one couple that has a TV Refrig,Microwave,Laptop ,Small dog etc... USX seems to be pretty liberals about things like that..

    ok thanks, all I can get out of the recruiter is they have the best equipment around lol

    At least you got to talk to a recruiter. I emailed the one that was recruiting at my school and still haven't heard back from him. I'm still contemplating USX and the Pumpkin Patch, but the no idle/no apu policy that they have has kinda swayed my opinion over to red.:biggrin_255:

    YES as long as you dont drill holes in anything.
    yes BUT again no drilling holes. and power output may be a prob for the newer trucks with all the computers.. to much power output can freak out the trucks computers.... my truck (a 06) has 5 computers.... you can have up to a 1750w invertor in the truck (they must install it)
