No. A warning is a warning. There is no admission of guilt or finding of guilt by a judge or jury.
teemaw Thanks this. -
STexan is rite about warnings, however have been out of trucking long enough i am not sure about your csa score on warnings.
teemaw Thanks this. -
If the officer INSPECTS your truck at the time he gave you the warning then it will go on your CSA score.

thanks sugah

I would like to clarify a little.
If the officer issued a "roadside inspection" form and you signed it and he signed it and only got a warning about a particular situation, then whatever area in the regs that the warning is issued to, GOES AGAINST THE DRIVER POINTS. Meaning "warnings count" just like infractions count.
If no roadside inspection form was issued, no signature from driver or officer needed and officer did not issue any other paper warning, like a state citation/warning, your CSA points and state points shouldn't be an issue.
Basicly, if you received a roadside inspection warning for a headlight being out, you & he/she signed it, then points are assessed to your CSA score. If he said warning and no roadside inspection form was issued, your OK. Other than getting the headlamp replaced as soon as reasonable.

Post a link from the FMCSA web site where a "driver" can see there score or points or what ever you wanna call it.
Dont bother posting a link where you have to buy it from 3rd party generated reports. -
I guess the fact that individual drivers are not assigned "CSA points" has given way to the myth that they do?
Best regardsWest coast trucker Thanks this. -
The PSP costs $10.00 from the government. It does not list your 'points' just every accident back 5 years that was reported to the DOT [alot are not reported!] and every roadside inspection you were involved in back 3 years. That part shows the carrier's name and DOT number and you can open each inspection report and see the ponts that were issued to the motor carrier as part of the inspection.
Right now you do not have a score even if your carrier holds you responsible for the poiints they get from your inspection. -
This is correct.
Driver dont have a "score" or "points". The PSP is nothing more than a data base for every CDL driver that goes thru a roadside insp.
The PSP report will NOT and does NOT assign "points" to any violations on a driver. Its only a tool within the FMCSA to show carriers if a driver has a pattern of bad or good roadside insp.
If a driver for ABC Trucking gets wrote up for say log book forum and manner 25 times in 36 months the carrier gets all the points. If said driver quits and goes to XYZ Trucking, XYZ can pull the drivers PSP report and see what kind of driver he or she is. Once they see they have been wrote up 25 times for log book infractions XYZ should deny to hire the driver base upon the fact that if the driver got 25 write ups at one carrier in 36 months its a safe bet the pattern will continue with them.dibstr Thanks this.
