PAM Transport doesn't like gay people

Even If they told you to your face "we dont hire homos" what are your damages? yea i know its against the law and they are not supposed discriminate against you, but really how are you harmed?

Sometimes damages aren't the issue, its the principle. One could make the same argument that blacks weren't harmed by segregation. They still got to their destination,even if they had to sit in the back of the bus or stillgot to use the bathroom even if it was in a different part of a building.

Discrimination is discrimination. It should not be tolerated because there's no actual "damages".

Maybe I.have a different perspective since my brother is gay. I wonder about how he felt hearing people talk down about homosexuals. He knew he was gay since mid school and felt he had to hide.it for.so long. It makes sense now why he took a job that.had him move so far away.

 

Many times people who are part of a protected class expect that they should be a 'shoo in' for any job that they apply for based on their membership in that class. They come across as elitist and untouchable - basically walking in and throwing it in the face of whoever's path they happen to cross. This is generally not well received. I'm not saying that's what's happening in your case, but it sure seems like it may be. If not, then there are more companies out there than PAM. Why waste your time and effort crying over spilled milk?

 

Pam is not the only company out there.Just hang it up and go somewhere else.
