Hey y'all? Well my husband is a newbie trucker and I was to get him a GPS for Christmas. Anyone have any suggestions on which one I should buy?

I know I wasn't much help, those are the things "I" would want. Personally I just don't trust a GPS, I don't why, I just prefer to read the map and once I get close call for directions for the last few miles. Whatever you get him I'm sure he'll be appreciative, it's the thought that counts.

gps like anything else is just one tool i use mine and use my eyes and brain to verify
many recievers are not open when i show up so phone isnt always reliable
rand mcnally has good products
my most useful device is my laptop looking at google earth to see just where i am taking this little 70' truck into -

I got a Garmin Dezl and just like anything it does have some faults. I was looking at Rand Mcnally but it did not have lifetime updates. Just my 2 cents worth.
