Tanker traning co. Do your 6 and bail.........

 

When I was a tanker yanker, talked to a guy in Texas at chemical plant, and he had been with them 23 years. Obviously, he is happy there.

 

And you can be..... just like at Trimac or SNBC. Some of us prefer more respect and cash / bennies for what we do than what is offered by the traditional "common carrier". I am friends with a 30 year Trimac driver, he's very happy and will retire there.

Nothing against them at all, to each his own. I preferred the more luxurious private fleet life. I was welcomed to the team and my input was appreciated. My bennies started at day one. Pay was much better and consistent.

It wasn't all roses either...my FM was a butt and a devout company man. Too bad too, not a bad cat off the clock and sharp as a tack. Knew his game well. Could have been one heck of a supervisor..........

Didn't mean to rant....just sayin it is what you make of it.

 

Every driver I met from Trimac had nothing but good to say. Regarding newbies, Without experience, Trimac only hires from PTDI-approved schools ... and there isn't a whole lot of them.

 

Regardless of opinion the carriers i mentioned are what they are, a training ground for the bottom two thirds of their driver pool. Many more pass thru than stay heading for their "green grass" just like I did.

It can be whatever you want it to be......
